A traveling exhibition in Belgium, from September 2022 onwards to May 2023, organised by Platform Wiskunde Vlaanderen in collaboration with the universities in Flanders.

This exhibition is an organisation of Platform Wiskunde Vlaanderen and the universities in Flanders (the Dutch speaking part of Belgium).  The exhibition has been developed in co-organisation with Platform Wiskunde Nederland and IMAGINARY.  The exhibition will visit 6 cities in Flanders and in parallel 8 cities in the Netherlands.

It will feature over 50 posters, focusing on the beauty as well as on the broad range of applications of mathematics.   The posters thematically clustered as follows: Algebraic Surface,  Compositions,  World Record Surfaces,  Tilings and Polytopes,  Chaos,   Fractals,  Cosmology,  Networks,  Geometric Origami,  Surprising Mathematics.

A collection of 3d Prints and Origami objects will be displayed.

The exhibit is completed with large touch-screen computers featuring apps stimulating activity by the visitors.  Included are SURFER, Math to Touch,  Reinforcement Learning,  Gradient Descent,  … .    Several physical puzzle tables are challenging the visitors as well.
