In this first edition, the Mathematics Festival realizes an independent version of the IMAGINARY exhibition, bringing together fascinating contents found in the IMAGINARY platform and in other sources. The event is opened to the public of all ages. The Mathematics Festival is part of the “Mathematics Biennium 2017/2018 - Gomes de Sousa”, a movement for education that aims to create, produce and bring to Brazil multiple experiences that generate new discoveries and stimulate the learning of Mathematics in general. The Mathematics Festival will happen from April 27th to 30th 2017, at Escola Eleva and Escola Sesc de Ensino, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
