I am a research scientist in geometric analysis and mathematical relativity at Tübingen University in Germany. Before, I have taught and studied at Duke University (US), Cambridge University (UK), the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics/Albert Einstein Institute (Germany), and Freiburg University (Germany).
At the same time, I am active in mathematics communication and outreach for a couple of years now. I have organized interactive hands on mathematics exhibitions, see e. g. “Wissenschaft interaktiv“, written a children’s book on mathemagical tricks, participated in and organized science and math slams etc. Currently, I work as coordinator in the project Oberwolfach meets IMAGINARY and as senior editor for the “snapshots of modern mathematics from Oberwolfach“.
