We present an exhibition about Algebraic Surfaces made with SURFER, the Java-based software developed to explore the relation between formulas and surfaces.
The exhibition is a part of “European Night of the Researchers ”, an open day dedicated to scientific research.

We present an exhibition about Algebraic Surfaces made with SURFER, by IMAGINARY.ORG, the Java-based software developed to explore the relation between formulas and surfaces, in an interactive way.

The exhibition will showcase 20 posters, meant to be a guided tour in the realm of algebraic surfaces. Moreover, visitors will have acces to the software SURFER, and will be able to enter their own formulas in a computer; the resulting surface will be projected on a large screen.

Young students of mathematics will explain what is going on.

The exhibition is a part of “European Night of the Researchers ”, an open day dedicated to scientific research, organized in Italy by Frascati Scienza.
