Passend zu unserem IMAGINARY-Leitbild der engen Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Besuchern beim Erstellen von Ausstellungen (wir erinnern uns an das Projekt „Mathematics of Planet Earth“, das maßgeblich durch die Mitwirkung unserer Besucher entstanden ist), präsentieren wir unser neues Projekt: „SURFER - Besucher entwerfen eine Mathe-Kunst-Ausstellung“. Die Ausstellung wird vor Ort von Grund auf von den Besuchern erstellt. Das Projekt läuft in Zusammenarbeit mit der phaeno-Ausstellung in Wolfsburg und findet vom 13.-15. September 2013 auf der phaeno statt.
Die Besucher können auf spielerische Art und Weise dreidimensionale algebraische Geometrie in Echtzeit entwerfen und erschaffen so eine Mathe-Kunst-Ausstellung. Farbenfrohe Formen, erschaffen durch einfach Formeln! Die Bilder können vor Ort gedruckt und auf diese Weise - Schritt für Schritt - zu einer Mathe-Ausstellung an den Wänden werden, allein durch die Mitwirkung der Besucher.
Sie können sich auch von zu Hause aus beteiligen, indem Sie das Programm SURFER zur Erstellung der Visualisierungen benutzen. Das Programm können Sie unter www. imaginary.org/program/surfer herunterladen, die Bilder mit der zugehörigen Formel können an surfer@phaeno.de geschickt werden. Die schönsten Einsendungen werden ausgewählt und auf der Ausstellung gezeigt!
Der Einsendeschluss für daheim erstellte Bilder ist der 11. September 2013.
Diese durch Besucher erstellte Ausstellung ist Teil der “phaenomenale” und steht im Zusammenhang mit der Ausstellung „Mathe x anders“, die ebenfalls auf der phaeno gezeigt wird.
