Wir haben eine Weihnachtskarte (erhältlich auf deutsch, englisch, spanisch, französisch und catalan) zum herunterladen und weiterleiten zur Verfügung gestellt. Es wurde mit unserem Programm SURFER erstellt, das algebraische Flächen in Echtzeit visualisieren kann. Sie können uns helfen, die Karte in andere Sprachen (zum Beispiel portugiesisch oder russisch) zu übersetzen! Außerdem können Sie die InDesign-Dateien erhalten, um Ihre eigene Weihnachtskarte zu erstellen - sie stehen im Anhang im unteren Teil der Seite zum Download zur Verfügung.
2013 war ein besonderes Jahr für uns: Wir begannen die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projekt Mathematics of Planet Earth und brachten eine neue Ausstellung auf den Weg, unsere neue Plattform „IMAGINARY - open mathamtics“ wurde präsentiert, wir arbeiteten auf vielen Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungen in Deutschland, Russland, Norwegen, Frankreich, Dänemark, Argentinien, Spanien, Ururguay und Vietnam und präsentierten unsere „IMAGINARY-Entdeckerbox“, ein aufregendes neues Medium, um in den Schulen aktiv zu werden. Die größte Neuigkeit ist jedoch die Fortführung der großartigen Zusammenarbeit mit der Klaus Tschira Stiftung. Momentan arbeiten wir an einem Dreijahresprojekt, dessen Ziel die Kommunikation von moderner Mathematik und aktueller Forschung ist. Wir freuen uns auf das anstehende Projekt „Snapshots of modern mathematics“ und neue Ausstellungen, die bereits in den Startlöchern stehen.
