All content on the IMAGINARY platform is available under one of the open source licenses specified. You, as user, agree to only share contents under an open source license and to follow all license agreements for any content downloaded at the platform.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
The following terms of service by IMAGINARY as a project by the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach may be updated from time to time. The latest version can always be found here.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
“IMAGINARY - open mathematics” provides users with a platform to share content including programs, films, videos, physical exhibits, texts, comments (“content”) related to mathematics, maths communication, maths didactics, maths art and related fields. You understand and agree that the platform is provided “as it is” and “as it is available” and that IMAGINARY assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user data or settings.
You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You understand that all information, data, text, videos, images, videos, messages, or other materials (“content”), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such content originated. This means that you, and not IMAGINARY, are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via the platform.
Under no circumstances will IMAGINARY be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the platform.
You acknowledge that IMAGINARY may or may not pre-screen content and has the right in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any content that is available via the platform. You acknowledge, consent and agree that IMAGINARY may access, preserve and disclose your account information and content if required. You also acknowledge that IMAGINARY reserves the right to log off or close your account for any reason.
OPEN SOURCE LICENSE ON CONTENT SUBMITTED AND DOWNLOADED
All contents on the platform underly one of the available open source licenses.With respect to content you submit or make available for inclusion on the platform you grant IMAGINARY and all IMAGINARY users one of these open source licenses.
With respect to content from the platform you download and share you accept to follow the respective open source license for the downloaded content, especially to display all authors, follow the commercial or non-commercial policy and share edited content under the same license.
Furthermore you shall host any new content based on content downloaded also on the IMAGINARY platform.
NO RESALE OF SERVICE
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the platform, use of the platform, or access to the platform.
IMAGINARY CONTENT LICENSE (FOR PUBLISHERS)
Content of the IMAGNARY website of any nature can only be reproduced at any other medium if the licenses are followed or with prior permission of the IMAGINARY team and the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach.
MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE
IMAGINARY reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the platform (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that IMAGINARY shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the platform or any other services offered.
