Exhibitions are the IMAGINARY way to reach out to a broad public in real life. They are shown in galleries, at museums, in schools, banks, universities, parks or train stations. Exhibitions are diverse: they can include images, interactive programs, sculptures, puzzles, games, text boards, etc. You can take all exhibits home and easily stage your own exhibition.
“IMAGINARY – through the eyes of mathematics” is an interactive travelling exhibition by the Mathematischen Forschungsinstituts Oberwolfach originally developed for the Year of Mathematics 2008 in Germany. Its intention is to display visualizations, interactive installations, virtual realities, 3D objects and their theoretical background in algebraic geometry and in singularity theory in an attracting and understandable manner. It’s a unique science experience!
