The Ecsite Directors Forum is an annual gathering for senior managers from Ecsite Full and Associate Member organizations. The 2024 Forum will focus on the vital role of community engagement in organizational sustainability and growth, emphasizing the importance of immersive, reciprocal relationships in co-designing and shared decision-making.

Attendees will participate in keynote talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions that explore successful community partnerships, their social impact, and their influence on evolving business strategies. The Forum will also address the challenges of today’s polarized social environment, sharing both successes and obstacles.

This two-day event offers a platform for networking, exchanging knowledge, and fostering peer collaboration across Europe.

Eric Londaits from IMAGINARY will participate in a panel discussion in the Webinar “‘Now you are speaking my languages!’: Practices and Research on Museum Translation” and discuss navigating language and translation challenges in an international team with a global audience. His short presentation will further emphasize emotional, affective, and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) considerations in text, covering not only museum texts but also the “conversational aspects” of interactives and user interfaces.

The Directors Forum is framed by a pre-event visit to the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum in London and a post-event visit to Aardman Animations in Bristol.
