RSME-Imaginary visited Malaga from February 9th to March 9th, 2012. It was located at the building of the Presidency of the University of Malaga jointly with the photographic exhibition “The taste of Mathematics”. The photographic exhibition “Parallel universes dialoguing” took place in the building of Cajamar, both historical buildings are located in the city center.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Maribel Calero (Vicechancelor of the University of Malaga), Manuel Torralbo(General Manager of Universities of the Andalusian Government) and Francisco Chamizo (Responsible of Institutional Relationships of Cajamar).

RSME-Imaginary-Malaga included the exhibitions ”The taste of Mathematics” and ”Parallel universes dialoguing”, by José Carlos García, Pedro Reyes Dueñas and Mercedes Siles Molina. The first one was dedicated to explore connexions between Cookery and Mathematics and the second one to show that the worlds of Mathematics and of Cookery are universes walking in parallel through creation. “The taste of Mathematics” has been exhibited also in Panama (October 2012) and will visit Santiago de Compostela (March-April-May 2013).

A copy of the pictures composing “The taste of Mathematics” was given to the Prince Felipe de Borbon on the occasion of the reception to the RSME because of its Centennial.
