IMAGINARY in cooperation with AIMS at π-Day in Dar Es Salaam

IMAGINARY will be represented at its first event in collaboration with AIMS at the 10th anniversary of the π-day celebrations in Dar Es Salaam, with a small interactive SURFER exhibit.
The Mathematical Association of Tanzania in collaboration with the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS)-NEI is celebrating its 10th Anniversary of the National Pi-Day on the 13th and 14th of March 2014. In order to fuel the collaboration between AIMS and IMAGINARY, an interactive exhibit of SURFER will be displayed at this event in Dar es Salaam.
The event is expected to be attended by up to 2000 school children and 200 teachers from all over the country.

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is a pan-African network of centers of excellence for post graduate training, research and outreach in mathematical sciences.
