This image shows two plane-filling curves of the Eisenstein-7 family (see fractalcurves.com for an explanation). Plane-filling curves of the same type can tesselate (mate). These curves are also self-crossing, and their cross-points lie within the Eisenstein integer lattice. The curves have been splined so that the sweeping paths can be visualized.
