IMAGINARY presents the kids’ workshop “IMAGINARY - Mathematik, Kunst und Musik selbst gemacht!” for kids age 12 - 14 years at the event KinderuniKunst in Vienna.

Invent formulas that generate beautiful images, and compose your own electronic music!

Are you interested in the interrelations of science, art, and music? Then KinderUniKunst is the place to go. The IMAGINARY workshop allows you to invent mathematical fomulas and use them to generate works of art. You can also create electronic compositions that match pictures or movies. The musician Lukas Ljubanovic, the mathematician Andreas Matt, the computer scientist Erik Hörtnagl and the two special coordinators Tomé Hauser and Florian Kirschner will coach you and help you explore the world of mathematics and music.

You find the final videos (animations of algebraic surfaces and music) in the embedded video above.
