The Master Class Mathematics is an initiative of the faculty for mathematics at Technical University Dresden, Germany, for exceptionally interested and talented 7th grade high school students.

On three Saturdays in spring, topics will be discussed, which are usually not included in the curriculum, in order to spark and support enthusiasm for mathematics. On each of these Saturdays, two topics will be actively discovered by the group of students together with an instructor.

IMAGINARY will use the SURFER program to introduce the students to the topic of algebraic surfaces.
