On December 20th, 2011, the traveling version of the exhibition “RSME-Imaginary” opened in the Sala Estudi General of the cultural center La Nau of the University of Valencia, where it remained until February 5th, 2012.

The exhibition included a collection of plaster models started by Alexander Brill and Felix Klein and restored by the University of Zaragoza in 2011, and a selection of geometric contemporary painting from collection Martinez Guerricabeitia painted by Lucio del Pezzo, Amadeo Gabino, Joaquin Michavila, Jose Maria Yturralde and Prince of Asturias Eusebi Sempere. Valencia University Vicepresidents of Culture Antonio Ariño and Olga Gil Medrano opened it. Local coordinator, Juanjo Nuño, aided by Norberto Piqueras, Manuel Martinez and Pilar Perez, organized the exhibition and visits.

On January 30th, an “Arts and Mathematics Day” was organized in the Faculty of Mathematics, in collaboration with the chair for science communication of the University of Valencia. There were several talks by Rinus Roelofs (sculptor and mathematician, Hengelo, Netherlands), Juan Monterde and María García-Monera (University of Valencia) and Dirk Huylebrouk (Sint-Lucas Architectuur, Belgium).
