IMAGINARY exhibition opened in Trondheim, Norway

For the first time, “IMAGINARY - through the eyes of mathematics” will be shown in Norway.The exhibition is organized by the NTNU University Museum in collaboration with The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters through the board of Abel Prize and other partners. The exhibition features new backlight picture columns, a series of 3d prints and glass cubes of algebraic surfaces, interactive stations as SURFER, jReality or Cinderella. The new Cinderella applets from the Deutsches Museum, Munich, are shown outside Munich for the first time.

The opening took place on Friday 15th November, 01 PM at NTNU University Museum and the exhibition will be shown until March 30, 2014. It is planned that the exhibition will then travel through Norway and be presented in other science museums.
