Gerade rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten ist das neueste Produkt von IMAGINARY erschienen: die IMAGINARY-Entdeckerbox, eine Auswahl spannender Inhalte der IMAGINARY-Plattform für zu Hause. Sie enthält eine Mischung aus physischen und elektronischen Materialien: 3D-Skulpturen, Poster, handwerkliches zum Selberbasteln, eine Live-DVD mit verschiedenen Filmen und Software, 3D-Brillen … sogar ein Buch mit bisher unbearbeitetem Material des russischen Problemlöse-Superstars Vladimir Arnold! Es sind alle Zutaten vorhanden, um Augen leuchten und Gedanken kreisen zu lassen, in Klassenzimmern, bei Freunden von IMAGINARY und natürlich bei allen, die eine eigene IMAGINARY-Ausstellung planen.
Die Mathematik hinter den verschiedenen Elementen der Entdeckerbox kann spielerisch und interaktiv erforscht werden. Sie sind so konzipiert, dass Platz für Experimente und Erweiterung bleibt. Alle Inhalte sind, wie bei IMAGINARY üblich, open source und können frei kopiert und weiterverbreitet werden.
Die Entdeckerbox kann hier bestellt werden. Der Selbstkostenpreis von 99 Euro beinhaltet den deutschlandweiten Versand. Die 3D-Drucke wurden von unserem Partner trinckle.com bereitgestellt. Das Entdeckerbox-Projekt wurde ermöglicht durch freundliche Unterstützung der Klaus Tschira Stiftung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Mathematischen Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach.
