Zum ersten Mal wird “IMAGINARY - through the eyes of mathematics” in Norwegen gezeigt. Die Ausstellung wird vom NTNU University Museum in Zusammenarbeit mit der Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters durch den Ausschuss des Abel Prize und anderen Partnern organisiert. Es werden eine neue Gegenlicht-Galerie ausgestellt, eine Reihe von 3D-Drucken und Glaswürfel in Form von algebraischen Flächen, sowie interaktive Stationen mit Programmen wie SURFER, jReality oder Cinderella. Die neuen Cinderella-Applets des Deutschen Museums in München werden zum ersten Mal außerhalb von München gezeigt.
Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung war am Freitag, 15. November 2013 im NTNU University Museum, sie läuft bis zum 30. März 2014. Im Anschluss wird die Ausstellung durch Norwegen reisen und in weiteren Wissenschaftsmuseen ausgestellt.
