The Italian premiere of a large IMAGINARY exhibition
IMAGINARY is one of the highlights of the 2017 edition of the Festival della Scienza. This landmark event in science communication is at its 15th edition, and counts 265 events arround Genoa. More than 460 guides - students and young researchers - are involved in this years preparations.
The exhibition we helped prepare includes some already classical IMAGINARY contents: geometric 2D and 3D art, the interactive stations with SURFER and Math To Touch. We also included exhibits which were first shown in Edinburgh at Birlliant Geometry. This part illustrates stereographic projection using rays of light projecting through various 3D models on nearby walls. Visitors can rotate the models around, seeing how the distortion of the projection changes.
