Workshop Climate Crisis Mathematics @ Virtual Math Night

On December 1, 2023, the Mathematics Cluster of Excellence MATH+ from Berlin, the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics at the University of Bonn, and the Mathematics Münster at the University of Münster will open their virtual doors for an extended math night. From 3 p. m. to midnight, interested parties will have the opportunity to dive into informative workshops and lectures presented by renowned scientists. The event will take place entirely on Zoom.
The workshop “The Mathematics of Climate” is designed by IMAGINARY. This workshop takes a concise look at the mathematics behind the climate crisis and refers to the exhibition “10 Minute Museum: Mathematics of the Climate Crisis”. A unique opportunity to delve deeper into a highly topical subject and explore the link between mathematics and global challenges.
