Using a single formula - a polynomial - the film shows fascinating transformations from a cube to a rhombic dodecahedron, to an octahedron and to a dodecahedron. It was created using the free software SURFER of the IMAGINARY open mathematics platform and will be shown at the Bridges 2015 Short Movie Festival Jul. 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm as well as 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

We will also give a short presentation at Bridges, exploring the connection of Pyrite, Plato and the mentioned Polynomial on July 31 at 2:45 pm, room 3, Baltimore University.
